- This movement has a power-saving mechanism, which is good to know if you have a large collection and won’t be wearing the watch all the time. If you put the watch “in storage” with the stem pulled out, power consumption is reduced approximately 70%. So I guess the battery can last as much as 150 months “on standby.”

I wear Rolex mostly. But I got into this no label wearing phase and just love the stealthy ness of this watch. It holds perfect time down to the seconds. Not even my Rolex watches are that accurate even in mechanical standards. A couple I've had, but most are not. It sat in my safe for a year and was still perfect time down to the seconds. I've never had a watch that accurate. And I even paid around 170 I think when they came out and used the 15off. I know it was around $200. And now I see they're 329. Still worth the price, but it is very comfortable and a great throw down watch to not give a f#$% about. Seriously, get one with the Zulu Special Band they make and call it a day. The band that comes with it is still good too. I just love all their stuff. My wife gets pissed at me because I'm ordering some cool stuff every weekend. As long as their quality never dies, my business won't.

When you spend your hard earned money on a Sangin Overlord and the seconds hand misses every induce, it’s easy to end up regretting your purchase. I was extremely disappointed, but I really like the simplistic style of the watch. I did a lot of research regarding the Maratac 42 mm GMT watch and even conversed with the crew at CountyComm. They assured me if I were to purchase their watch, I would not have that problem. I pulled the trigger and they were absolutely right. An amazing watch. Larger than the Overlord, with a date complication and a titanium case. I haven’t taken this watch off my wrist. Well worth the money and absolutely zero issues. Thank you for reassuring me and creating such a wonderful watch that puts a smile on my face whenever I check the time.
Solid piece overall. The watch feels well manufactured, with a reassuringly sturdy build and a clean titanium case that keeps it light on the wrist without sacrificing presence. The ****-down crown is a welcome touch and adds to the sense of durability and everyday usability.
That said, a few details hold it back slightly. The supplied strap feels a bit cheap compared to the watch itself and is likely the first thing worth upgrading. The hands are on the thinner side, which affects legibility more than expected, especially in lower light. The second time zone is usable, but only just — it works, though it could definitely be clearer and better executed.
Overall, a strong and reliable watch with a solid foundation, but a few refinements would elevate it significantly.
Absolutely love these watches. I was hessitant to get a 44 mil watch, but it doesnt wear like one. It will be my new daily wear. This is my fourth Maratac watch and I have never been dissapointed. Even when compared to my other, more expensive watches, the quality is there. I dont know much about the movements but My stainless DC50 is more accurate than my Hammilton and Seiko. My Mid Pilot is very old (IDK maybe 15-20) I really can remember but still it keeps great time. This is a Quarts, so that shouldnt be an issue. I put all three that I have as a size comparrison. (42 mil Mid Pilot, 42 mil DC50 , 44mil Titanium GMT)
