With permission and guidance from the original creator, we’ve brought it back to life—reimagined with modern materials and thoughtful upgrades. Built from Ultem Bar Stock and Grade 5 Titanium clip and screws, this pen is as durable as it is sleek, delivering timeless style with everyday functionality.

This is a really nice looking pen and it writes very smooth. Its the perfect size both in diameter and in length. I'd highly recommend it.
I have an original Max mad co pen I bought back when they were still being made and was disappointed when i found out they were'nt being made a few years back when I when looking to buy a backup for my original. Imagine my excitement when I found that Countycomm had started making them again in new materials with new designs! After trying other pens on the market these are the best and longest lasting pens money can buy I highly recommend! The new pens are identical and almost identical to the original!
I have the Ti version and love it, but this one actually feels better in-hand for me: oh-so-slightly more forward balance, moreso than the lighter weight, per se. Clip is very snug for EDC, airports, etc., without ripping a hole in your pocket. And Ultem is plenty sturdy for, y'know, stabbing mercilessly when we're confronted by ninjas in elevators or restrooms and stuff.
Great pen to go with my new Vosteed Nightshade. Love the Topo design & the pen is so light in hand. The Ti clip gives it a premium feel & the bolt is very fidgety to play with, plus it writes well so happy days.
Manufacturing is top notch. No concerns with finish or tolerances.
I have the other material versions (aluminum, titanium, brass), and while I do typically prefer to write with a heavier pen, this Ultem pen is perfect for “disappearing” (weight wise) into my polo pen pocket or front button area. To coop a turn of phrase: The best pen in the world is the one you have with you.
The bolt action is still great, but I don’t feel it is as satisfying as the metal-on-metal experience of the other versions…
